Please tell us about yourself —where you're from, your career, family, interests, and aspirations.
Hi, I'm Brandy Kelly. I grew up on a small farm on Prince Edward Island, Canada's smallest province, but Toronto has been my home for 25 years now, where I live with my husband, my two kids, and they're aged 5 and 15. I also have a stepson who just started university. Outside of work, I enjoy sailing with my family on our catamaran on Lake Ontario. We love going on cruising adventures, getting outdoors. I also love a good party, and I try to balance wine with a healthy diet and lots of exercise.
I spent 25 years in digital sales during my career with companies like LinkedIn, Microsoft, Meta, Bell, and AOL, helping brands through every wave of the digital revolution, very similar to WSI from self-taught SEO pre-Google to launching the first websites before Y2K to then launching the early online ads, mobile, social, and digital selling strategies. I'm excited about pairing that experience with the next big wave, Web 3.0 and AI, to help businesses grow. But now, I get to captain my own boat, not just crew someone else's.
What motivated you to explore franchising as the next step in your career?
Well, after years in corporate, I wanted more freedom over my career, and frankly, over my calendar. I've always had that entrepreneurial itch, and I just didn't know where to begin. So, franchising felt like the sweet spot. Independence with the safety net of support and a proven system.
Why did you choose to join WSI, and what makes it the perfect fit for you?
WSI stood out because it's the world's largest digital marketing network, and it has 30 years of credibility. It's the perfect platform to combine my digital background with. And I'm excited about how WSI is leaning into AI, which is really where my passion is right now. The model feels familiar from my corporate sales career, that global network, the proven playbooks, but this time, I'm getting to choose who I work with and how I work. It's like the best parts of corporate without the corporate.
What are your primary business goals, and what excites you most about achieving them with WSI’s support?
My primary business goals are to build a profitable business where I can be a trusted advisor to my clients while also creating long-term wealth and freedom for my family. What excites me most about achieving this with WSI is that every business today has to transform some way in this new era. And with WSI's support, I don't have to figure it out alone. I can focus on building strong client relationships, delivering real impact, and knowing that there's this team and global network out there to help me be successful and scale.
